This is a remarkably comfortable as well as an amazing looking chair. The unique suspension system was designed by GRPD to respond directly to the body: each supporting pad is sprung differently to support the person’s trunk, legs and back. After seeing it published in one of the design annuals, Warner Brothers Studios asked us to provide the chair for the Star Trek Next Generation TV series.
